In this position, you will be responsible for providing excellent and efficient customer service by phone and email as well as supporting administrative functions for the organization.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with project planning, development and evaluation as well as the ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and exercise superior judgment to make decisions.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Computer literacy, with demonstrated experience with Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Internet Explorer or equivalent).
  • Team player with ability to interact effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills along with the ability to negotiate or influence.
  • A customer service mindset for both internal and external customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in downstream petroleum markets (sales, customer relations and service, transportation) is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Key liaison, utilizing both phone and email, between the company and its customers, supporting a best-in-class customer experience
  • Collaborate with assigned sales representatives to assist growth of existing business or acquire new business.
  • Research lubricant-related questions and provide technical support to customers and Customer Service team.
  • Communicate with Sales team, Operations, and customers on outstanding issues that need immediate follow-up and document the process.
  • Make ongoing proactive and reactive customer calls to ensure a positive relationship with accounts.
  • Process daily paperwork and transactional information related to purchasing, sales and inventory
  • Utilize the CRM and designated shared folder to organize and document all communications and account information.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems/complaints and track them within CRM.
  • Provide administrative support for lubricants billing, transfers, and receipt of products.
  • Assist with monitoring and management of lubricant inventories at multiple warehouses.
  • Collaborate with sales staff when developing quotes or processing other paperwork for existing and new customers.
  • Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements.
  • May occasionally provide administrative support to other parts of the business.
  • Special projects and reports to be assigned as needed.
