About The Position

Diamond Line Delivery, founded in 2000 in Boise Idaho, is a leading logistics and transportation company specializing in Less-than-Truckload (LTL) services. They are committed to providing efficient, reliable, and cost-effective shipping solutions to their clients. The company is looking for a passionate and results-driven Account Executive to join their team and contribute to their growing success. As an Outside Account Executive in the LTL division, you will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will identify and pursue new sales opportunities, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of LTL trucking and its advantages.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  • LTL operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute an effective sales plan for your territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the LTL trucking market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
