About The Position
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented LTL Shipping Associate to manage daily freight shipments. This role is responsible for operating a forklift, boxing and preparing products for shipment, and ensuring all outgoing freight is accurate and on time.
Requirements
- Experience in shipping and packaging required
- Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package freight for shipment
- Operate a forklift to move materials safely
- Stage and load outgoing shipments
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse team
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and proper documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
