About The Position

The LTC Pharmacist is responsible for assisting with total operations of Collaborative Pharmacy Services. This includes technician supervision, order entry verification, review, approval, unit dosing, and packaging of unit dose boxes. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current registered Pharmacist license for the State of Ohio
  • Knowledge of drug treatment, interaction, and administration
  • Knowledge of drug compounding
  • Ability to interact professionally with patients, medical staff, and third party payers
  • Ability to supervise others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
  • Organizational skills
  • Knowledge of controlled substance regulations
  • Basic computer skills - Ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Schedule will include a combination of first and second shift hours / weekend coverage will also be required

Nice To Haves

  • Long Term Care Pharmacy experience is a plus
