About The Position

We are seeking an experienced LTAC Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization and continuous cardiac monitoring. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Required)
• ACLS (Required)
• NIH Stroke Certification (Required)
• LTAC experience preferred
• Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry background

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to LTAC patients with complex medical conditions
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, and other advanced equipment as applicable
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
