In 1962, Ring Power Corporation became a full-line Caterpillar dealer in North Florida, and later expanded its authorized territory to include Central Florida. Today, Ring Power Corporate headquarters in St. Augustine oversees the operations of 18 branch locations throughout the state of Florida, including large regional facilities in Tampa and Orlando and crane and forklift sales and service facilities in Pompano and Miami. Ring Power also has eight facilities outside of Florida - Rhode Island, New Jersey, the Carolinas, Georgia, Texas and California - to serve the needs of other specialized industries and customers. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-4 years experience
  • Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
  • Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, develop and evaluate performance of department staff. Ensures positive customer experience including training, proactive coaching and mentoring. Fosters meaningful customer relationships as measured by net loyalty score
  • Maintain company standards in housekeeping and contamination control.
  • Advocates positive relationships among peers and team members, including product support sales, service personnel and prime product sales. Represent department in customer meetings (internal & external).
  • Maintains current and organized records to include, cash sale reconciliation, B/O reporting, action pending, payables and petty cash report
  • Maintains effective operations: Inventory integrity, timely inventory receipts, will call current and organized, walk the deck (times 2), Returns done daily (counter & shop), establishes work schedules and responsibilities in accordance with department standards.
  • Understands G/L structure and applies when reviewing operational statement, direct expenses and gross margin report.
  • Establish department budgets, goals and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
