Job Roles The Medical Assistant Student will learn clinical and administrative skills required to become an entry-level Medical Assistant. Participate in classroom instructions covering a broad range of clinical and administrative contents and subjects. Through the instruction and training program process, will perform a wide variety of patient activities to include accommodative services for assigned clinic patients. Will apply principles and practices learned in the program when move to the externship function at the end of the training program of instruction.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPT (BLS).

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
