About The Position

Brightstar Care of Hunterdon County is seeking for a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Responsibilities: Perform tube feedings of patients, established placement just prior to each tube feeding (e.g. Change tube feeding bag, prime line and set rate, refill tube feeding bag as indicated per infection control guidelines and after verifying correct tube feeding to be administered). Obtains vital signs, temperature, height/length, weight, oxygen saturation and pain scores; reports abnormal values to RN. Obtains other measurements (i.e., head circumference, abdominal girth) per unit standard. Responds to monitor alarms. Exhibits organizational ability related to workflow, prioritizing to meet the patient care needs Prepare and administer medications and review medication cards for completeness and accuracy Integrates current standards of practice as well as local, state, and federal regulations Complete required record keeping in regards to your role in admitting, transferring and discharging residents. Review resident care plans for appropriate resident goals, problems, approaches and revisions based on nursing needs. Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner Must be caring, compassionate, good communication skills, have a positive attitude and be a team player

Requirements

  • Current and valid LPN License in NJ
  • at least 1yr experience as an LPN
  • Driver's License with auto insurance

Nice To Haves

  • G-Tube experience is preferred
