Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Current LPN license in the State of Ohio
- Active CPR certification
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with EHR systems is a plus
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one (1) year of LPN experience in a community health, hospital, or private practice setting
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with direct patient care and clinical procedures.
- Conduct patient interviews and accurately document medical information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Perform routine screenings and tests as ordered by the provider.
- Handle telephone inquiries, provide clinical advice within scope, and conduct follow-up as needed.
- Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked, sanitized, and equipped.
- Coordinate referrals and pre-authorizations, and communicate next steps to patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
