About The Position

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to provide support within residential group home settings serving individuals with disabilities throughout Ocean County. In this role, the LPN will serve as a licensed medical professional for the agency and may be assigned across multiple programs or locations. Responsibilities may also include accompanying and supporting individuals during on-site visits to local hospitals and nursing facilities when inpatient care is required. Location: Brick, Ocean County Pay: Starting at $35.60 per hour, with eligibility for shift differentials that may add an additional $2–$4 per hour Schedule: Full-time second shift position, Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM Under the supervision of the agency Registered Nurse, the LPN is responsible for supporting and monitoring the clinical care of residents, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation. Duties include gathering health histories, documenting services provided, and maintaining accurate medication records. The LPN works collaboratively with administrative staff to help oversee and address the medical needs of each individual served. This role also involves supporting the overall health, safety, and well-being of residents and maintaining a safe living environment. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing, with no more than 5 points
  • Minimum of one year of experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Must hold and maintain an active LPN license issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing, with documentation required
