LPN– Assisted Living Schedule: Part time available 7AM- 3PM ---Every other weekend is a requirement Spring Arbor Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Assisted Living team. Individuals are responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations. They direct Resident Assistants (RAs) and help coordinate services to residents under the direction of the Resident Care Director. At times, our med tech team members may be required to perform the duties of the Resident Assistant on an as needed basis. Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work in a senior living environment without posing a substantial safety or health risk to self or others

Responsibilities

  • Administer and document medications in accordance with physician’s orders and state regulations
  • Ensure timely medication administration and assist in ordering residents’ prescriptions as needed
  • Communicate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding residents’ medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
  • Respond promptly to resident emergency call systems
  • Supervise and support Resident Assistants (RAs), fostering a positive team environment
