About The Position

Seneca Health Care Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Coordinator to lead a dedicated nursing unit. This full-time position offers a leadership role with growth opportunity, allowing an LPN to make a meaningful impact on resident care and team development. The role is located at Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca, NY, and includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires.

Requirements

• Current LPN license
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to effectively delegate, problem-solve, and prioritize care

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Experience in a lead nurse, charge nurse, or team leader role

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations for the assigned unit
• Provide hands-on nursing care and oversee medication and treatment administration
• Supervise and support CNAs and unit staff to ensure high-quality resident care
• Monitor documentation, care plans, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Serve as a point of contact for families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in staff scheduling, training, and performance discussions
• Support communication between nursing leadership and frontline staff
