Our programs are designed for individuals with early to mid-stage memory impairment, offering a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. Our compassionate staff is committed to providing personalized care to residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias.

Requirements

  • A current license to practice as an LPN in the State of New York
  • 1 year or more of experience as a LPN, preferably in a Skilled Nursing/LTC setting

  • The Supervisor must be able to lead and supervise a team of different backgrounds and possess strong de-escalation skills.
  • The Supervisor must have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • The Supervisor must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written and possess strong critical thinking skills to problem solve

Responsibilities

  • On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families
  • Perform assessments on elder's that may have had a fall, a decline in condition or perhaps suicidal comments
  • Act as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus and address staffing and family concerns
  • Asked to participate in auditing or QA activities
  • Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees
