Requirements

Current state licensure as a Dental Assistant (RDA) required
Orthodontic assistant experience preferred (dental assisting experience considered)
Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and appliances
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor
Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care

Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist during exams and orthodontic procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and orthodontic materials
Place and remove arch wires, bands, and brackets as directed
Take digital impressions, photos, and X-rays in compliance with safety standards
Educate patients on appliance care and oral hygiene
Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
