About The Position

ATTENTION! $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! 36 Hours per Week! Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is looking for a Full-time LPN or RN for The Greenbriar Center - Washington, PA location. Schedule will vary. Our nurses provide direct patient nursing care which includes administering medication and carrying out therapeutic treatments. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a registered or practical nurse.
  • CPR Certification
  • PA Criminal Background Check
  • Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances
  • Pass Drug Screen
  • 2 Step-TB Test
  • CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Two years’ experience in nursing field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administers medications.
  • Carries out prescribed therapeutic treatments.
  • Documents nursing observations and patient care rendered.
  • Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care.
  • Intervenes in crises and other emergency situations and provides admission phone triage.
  • Coordinates with all GRC departments as appropriate.
  • Provides patient health education.
  • Completes employee health duties.
  • Intervenes in crises for all GRC departments during off hours.
