About The Position

This role involves making a difference in the lives of patients as an LPN or CMA at the Melrose Clinic. Responsibilities include rooming patients, documenting thorough medical history, communicating results and relevant medical information, and ensuring efficient day-to-day clinic activities. The successful candidate will need to work well independently and collaboratively, possess strong communication skills with coworkers, patients, and their families, and demonstrate the ability to assess, problem-solve, and handle tasks as they arise.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (for LPN)
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota (for LPN)
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card (for LPN)
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (for CMA)
Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for CMA)
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card (for CMA)

Responsibilities

Room patients
Document thorough medical history from patients
Communicate results and relevant medical information
Ensure the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time
Assess, problem solve and handle tasks as they arise
