About The Position

We are immediately hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN and offering a $5,000 Sign on Bonus and providing care to patients in Central District to North King County. Territory: Float King County

Requirements

• Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures, i.e., Standard Precautions, Isolation Precautions, personal protective equipment, hand hygiene.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, supervised by a nurse
• Knowledge of the delivery of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
• Current Washington State LPN or Multistate LPN license
• 6 months of LPN experience
• Ability to drive with clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Home health/hospice experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Visits patient and provides nursing care according to plan of care.
• Implementing the care plan as written
• Evaluating effectiveness of care plan
• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Completes a progress note for each visit, and submits progress notes to the agency daily.
