About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. The LPN will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care during night shifts.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (Alaska or Compact State)
- Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on night shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and treatments
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and overall clinical status
- Assist with care planning and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and healthcare team members
- Respond promptly to changes in residents’ conditions
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Support residents with activities of daily living as needed
