Allegro Winter Park is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their clinical team in a supportive assisted living community. This role is ideal for nurses seeking a team-focused environment with strong leadership support. As an LPN / Wellness Nurse, you will play a key leadership role on shift, supporting residents, guiding caregivers, and ensuring quality care is delivered with compassion and consistency. The team is described as skilled, collaborative professionals who bring energy, expertise, and heart to everything they do.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
  • A team-player positive attitude and a passion for senior care
  • Assisted Living and Memory Care experience
  • Charge nurse or other leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents needs and monitor the condition of residents in AL. Demonstrate good decision-making skills.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.
