About The Position

The LPN Extended Hours Essential Duties Are:  Plans and delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patients, families, and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. What You Should Know About the LPN Extended Hours Role: This is a DRIVING position throughout Central Ohio This is a Part-Time position: 4p-12a two days a week and 8a-8p every other weekend also 2 holidays per year. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Active licensed practical nurse in the State of Ohio without any board actions.
• One year acute care nursing experience preferred.
• CPR Certified
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPLN) preferred and will be made available to Ohio's Hospice employees who wish to obtain certification.
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
• State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen
