Our outpatient family health center is staffed by highly skilled and compassionate board-certified family practice physicians and caregivers offering the entire family quality preventative health care, management of chronic conditions, and more. As an LPN, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing this exceptional, top-quality care. Some of your daily responsibilities will include rooming patients, processing in-basket items, administrative tasks, and more. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Experience with technology
- Computer literacy
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One year of clinical experience
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients.
- Administer medication.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files.
- Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
- Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
- Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
- Follow Code Blue protocol.
