Position Overview Our client is currently looking for a Junior Low Voltage Technician to assist with installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of various electronic security systems including CCTV, access controls and related low voltage systems across commercial and industrial projects. Location: Lakewood, NJ Employment Type: Onsite, Full time Salary Range : $20- $24/Hourly Benefits: H ealth, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and paid holidays

Requirements

Experience/understanding with construction environment and low voltage systems
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for daily travel in North Jersey/Bronx and surrounding areas
Hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, cutters), drills, crimpers, voltmeters, tape measures, ladders.
Basic computer skills, understanding wiring principles.
Detail-oriented, strong communication, teamwork, physical fitness for varied environments, safety-conscious

Responsibilities

Pulling, labeling, and terminating cables (coax, fiber, Cat5/6) for security, AV, fire, and data systems.
Supporting senior technicians with hardware setup, component assembly, and running wires in walls/ceilings.
Diagnosing and fixing issues in existing low voltage systems.
Reading blueprints/schematics
