About The Position

Install, maintain, and repair fire and burglar alarm systems in commercial setting Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret site drawings and floor plans to determine placement of alarm systems and related equipment. Run and terminate low voltage cabling for alarm systems. Program and configure alarm panels and related devices. Provide technical support and training to clients on the use and maintenance of alarm systems. Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and service calls. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and codes. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in installing and servicing fire and burglar alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, wiring, and cabling.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
