This position is responsible for managing, planning, organizing, supervising, and scheduling of multiple service accounts. Coordinate project activities such as installing, servicing, maintaining, repairing, testing, and modifying low voltage category cabling and safety systems. Assist in effectively troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment or conditions.

Requirements

  • A high school education or equivalent required.
  • Low Voltage license preferred.
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in field with two years of field management experience.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Some technical school training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight and management of the low voltage service team.
  • Direct oversight to ensure equipment delivery, material procurement, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs are successfully completed.
  • Responsible for maintenance and upgrading of all system’s hardware and/or software.
  • Install low voltage components in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Ensure work is done in accordance with local building codes and standards.
  • Work with technicians and contractors to install and terminate devices.
  • Diagnose electrical problems in residential and/or commercial buildings.
  • Measure voltage.
  • Knowledgably discuss the implications of installing various types of wiring.
  • The ability to train team members and customers on operating systems.
  • Conduct and review site surveys upon request of management.
  • Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
  • Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material to management.
  • Communicate with customers on job status or completion (installation or service).
  • Write service and status reports.
  • Submit complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Obtain proper signatures.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Reviewing construction/service schedules, matching available technicians to skillset required.
  • Using PB existing platforms (Service Trade, We Suite, Sedona, Teams, Outlook).
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner.
  • Ability to work independently on customer sites
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
