About The Position

about the position… The Low Voltage Foreman is a critical role at Power Design that ensures that we maintain a high level of quality, safety and customer satisfaction with the installation of Low Voltage systems. This role is an integral part of the project team and is assigned to a project throughout multiple phases of construction and through TCO. position details/responsibilities… Working closely with project superintendent, project manager and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower. Work with installation team to ensure that all safety, quality and code requirements are met. Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time, adheres to the blueprints and specifications, and exceeds customer expectations. Supervise, mentor and motivate employees working on designated scope. Coordinate code requirements with local inspectors and coordinate with systems programming and configuration through project completion. here’s what we’re looking for… Progressive electrical leader with a drive for results who loves using technology and wants a clear career path. Skilled field supervisor with at least three (3) years of experience managing related systems installations (5+ years preferred). BICSI RCDD Installer certification preferred, Access Control and CCTV Manufacturer certifications (Kantech, Software House, ExacQ) preferred. Proficient knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and construction safety requirements. Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Requirements
