Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Toddler/Childcare Classroom
  • Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in infant care
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
  • Individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and working with toddlers
  • Reliable team players who thrive in a collaborative teaching environment
  • Teachers who can model empathy, patience, and positivity while engaging actively with children
  • Ability to manage physical demands of a toddler classroom

Nice To Haves

  • CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, responsive, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers
  • Foster children’s social-emotional, cognitive, language, and motor development through structured routines and purposeful play
  • Implement lesson plans and participate in small group learning, story time, music & movement, sensory activities, and more
  • Maintain open communication with families through daily reports, updates, and parent-teacher conferences
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and compliant with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Support self-help skill development such as handwashing, toileting, and simple classroom routines
