The J. Thomas Lovell, Jr. Community Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the aquatics area, child-care area, gymnasium, welcome desk, racquetball courts, fitness areas, and maintenance/custodial services of the facility. This includes maintaining the physical environment of the Community Center. He/she also coordinates scheduling, set up and supervision of all facility rentals, bicycle and watercraft reservations and special events. He/she is responsible for overseeing the planning of instructional programs and festivals, including Legacy Blast. Job Scope: Directly supervised volunteers, full and part-time employees, and contract professionals. Assists and makes recommendations related to hiring, disciplining, advancement or other changes to employee status for direct reports and subordinates. Responsible for the preparation, administration and monitoring of the assigned budgets.
