About The Position

Maxime’s is NYC’s newest private member’s club from entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private member’s clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London. Maxime’s mission is to provide exceptional and discreet service for our members through unparalleled hospitality. Our aim is to make members feel as though they are in a private home, enjoying outstanding food and wine surrounded by stunning decor. Maxime’s is the newest private member’s club opening from entrepreneur Robin Birley, located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City. We are seeking for Servers who embody the bar and lounge atmosphere and culture of Maxime’s, delivering service efficiently and accurately while building relationships with members. Servers work closely with all front- and back-of-house team members to uphold standards and create a welcoming atmosphere, elevating Maxime’s brand and service standards at all times. You’ll be working as part of an established team delivering exceptional experiences daily. Requirements

Proven success as a Server within fine dining, Michelin-starred establishments, or luxury hotel settings.
Ability to provide a friendly, courteous and professional and timely service at all times.

Responsibilities

Maintaining thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items in our Zodiac Bar and 1st Floor Lounges to assist members with any dietary concerns or issues, including any dietary preferences and/or food allergies.
Processing food and beverage orders as needed, ensuring accuracy when entering orders into POS.
Adhering to all Department of Health and safety standards related to food handling, hygiene, and alcohol service.
Maintaining good working relationships and support all colleagues and other departments in providing exceptional hospitality.
To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company.
To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned.
