About The Position

It is the primary responsibility of the Lounge Server at Stripsteak in Mandalay Bay to deliver exceptional beverage service by accurately preparing and expediting drink orders while ensuring guests receive attentive and timely service. The Lounge Server will also assist with maintaining a clean and organized lounge environment through beverage and bus support. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• 6+ Months of prior relevant experience as a Cocktail and/or Food Server in a similar environment preferred
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor
• Knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink
• Communicate order into system through Bartender; ensure transmission is verified
• Knowledge of Hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management; notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
• Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required
