About The Position

The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing the entire region, including the operations of staff, programs, and relationships with our clients. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in sales and marketing to join a growing company. The Regional Director will be responsible for developing and executing a sale and marketing plan for their region. This person will also be responsible for building relationships with managers and franchisees in the region. They meet with employees to evaluate business progress and create and institute strategies to accomplish the goals of the company.

Requirements

  • Previous director’s experience is preferred, but other areas of leadership will be considered.
  • Understanding multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan multiple ongoing regional projects.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • The ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ethical leadership abilities.
  • Able to bring an element of excitement to the role and pass this on to the teams managed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the region and organization.
  • Implementing plans and processes to maintain productivity and profitability.
  • Ensure Health and safety procedures are followed to both brand and retailer standard throughout the partnership.
  • Review and monitor all operational and compliance audits/reviews.
  • Helping develop sales strategies and setting corporate sales targets.
  • Supporting Store Managers and acting as a primary resource.
  • Effectively manage the costs within your region, to ensure budgets are achieved.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and motivating work environment.
  • Diagnosing problems with the running of the business and formulating effective solutions.
  • Working with department teams to select, evaluate, and approve opportunities for growth in the market.
  • Clearly communicate business objectives to your Regional Managers, so they remain well informed of business activity and of their required contribution to targets.
  • Ensure your region has 100% completion on Safety Culture Logs through daily tracking.
  • Driving employees and leading performance reviews, to ensure an engaged and skilled workforce.
  • Create innovative plans to continually improve regional support for our employees, franchisees, and Kroger.
