Jeff Wyler Hyundai of Fairfield is "Now Hiring" a Lot Technician! Position Summary The Lot Technician is responsible for the organization, cleanliness, and movement of all dealership vehicles. This role supports the sales and service departments by ensuring vehicles are properly staged, maintained, and ready for customer viewing or scheduled appointments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain the appearance and organization of the dealership's new and used vehicle lots. Move, park, and rearrange vehicles as directed by management. Clean and prepare vehicles for display, including washing, vacuuming, and topping off fluids. Assist with vehicle check-in, including inspecting for damage, verifying VINs, placing window stickers, and logging location information. Pull vehicles for customer test drives or service appointments. Keep the lot clean and free of debris; ensure walkways and display areas are tidy and safe. Inspect lot vehicles daily for cleanliness, battery condition, fuel level, tire pressure, and overall presentation. Maintain keys, key boards, and vehicle tracking systems to ensure accurate inventory management. Transport vehicles to service, detail, gas stations, or between dealership locations as needed. Provide general support for the sales and service teams, including customer service when interacting with guests. Work Environment Primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions. Fast-paced dealership environment with frequent vehicle movement. Requires ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs occasionally.
