Lot Porter is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all vehicles within the dealership parking lot. As a Lot Porter, your responsibilities will include maintaining order, facilitating vehicle movement as required, and ensuring the cleanliness of driveways and sidewalks. Additionally, Lot Porter will be responsible for securely managing all truck keys.
Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Two (2) plus years driving experience
- Current Commercial driver license B
- Must have good time management skills and be detail oriented
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the trucks on lot clean and looking presentable for potential customers
- Maintaining lot in clean and marketable condition
- Weekly inventory checks, including starting/running vehicles
- Local deliveries
- Liaison between sales department and service/body shop
- Performing additional tasks as required by the department
