About The Position

The Loss Prevention Supervisor plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets, ensuring operational compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and integrity across the retail supply chain. This position requires a proactive leader who can balance investigative rigor with team support and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 1 -2 years of college education; or relevant experience.
  • 2 - 3 years of loss prevention, security, or safety experience; preferred with first aid/ CPR/ AED training.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Must be able to understand written and oral directions in English
  • Must be able to write in English
  • Stand and walk throughout a shift
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
  • Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position, which requires coordinated movements

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in LP (e.g., LPC, CFI) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of security equipment preferred (CCTV, alarm systems, and access control)

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide Loss Prevention Associates, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages open communication and mutual respect.
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to identify trends and develop strategic shrink reduction plans.
  • Leverage internal and external resources to investigate incidents and resolve cases efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all investigations and communications.
  • Represent the Loss Prevention department with professionalism in cross-functional meetings and external interactions.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into theft, fraud, and policy violations.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and audit reports to detect suspicious activity.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure operational compliance and safety standards.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for associates to report concerns or incidents.
  • Promote a culture of transparency and accountability through approachable leadership.
  • Provide clear and empathetic communication during conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Document incidents, investigations, and audit findings with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain organized records for legal, HR, and operational review.
  • Ensure all reporting meets internal standards and timelines.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and operational needs across multiple locations.
  • Respond to incidents outside of regular business hours when necessary.
  • Support special projects, seasonal initiatives, and cross-functional tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain visibility and accessibility across assigned location.
  • Provide on-call support for urgent incidents or investigations.
  • Participate in team meetings to ensure consistent presence and oversight.
