The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Patrol community grounds, including parking lots, common areas, and HOA/Club facilities (on foot or by cart), to ensure the safety of residents, guests, and staff • Monitor entrances and exits, authorizing access as appropriate to maintain a secure environment • Greet and assist members and guests with a friendly, professional demeanor • Enforce community rules, policies, regulations, and ordinances in a fair and consistent manner • Respond to complaints, disturbances, or safety concerns and conduct initial investigations as needed • Identify and report potential safety hazards or suspicious activity • Communicate clearly and effectively using both written and verbal methods in security and customer service interactions • Maintain ongoing communication with the HOA Community Manager regarding incidents, resident concerns, and community updates • Prepare detailed, accurate reports on security incidents and daily activities • Maintain organized security logs, files, and records • Take messages and relay important information to appropriate personnel • Explain and clarify rules and procedures to residents, guests, and staff as needed • Collaborate with management and emergency services when incidents require escalation • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall safety and satisfaction of the community • Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.
