Long-term Substitute School Adjustment Counselor
About The Position
The School Adjustment Counselor works in collaboration with teachers, administrators, families and community stakeholders to promote the ongoing development of the academic, personal, social, and emotional potential of all students. The primary role of the School Adjustment Counselor is to support and nurture the social and emotional well-being of all students. Through a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate 9-12 counseling program, the School Adjustment Counselor will assist students to identify and build on existing strengths, encourage the exploration of individualized interests, and help students to develop core competencies that will contribute to a safe learning environment where students feel comfortable to make mistakes, are engaged lifelong learners, and are active members of their school community.
