Salary and Benefits: In accordance with the support staff collective bargaining unit agreement. $18.00/hour No benefits. Schedule: This is a split position between Samuel Staples Elementary School and Helen Keller Middle School working under the direction of the Multi-Language Learner teacher. Requirements/Qualifications: College degree OR high school diploma with evidence of having passed the ParaPro exam Experience working with young children and adolescents ranging in grade levels from kindergarten to grade 8. Ideal Candidate Possesses: Ability to work directly with students from grades kindergarten to grade 8 who are learning to speak English, with oversight provided by the Multilingual Learner teacher. English language acquisition. Knowledge of a language other than English is not required.Applicants should have an interest in supporting students in varying stages of Ability to work with students one-on-one or in small group settings Ability to communicate with and relate well to young children and adolescents Good organizational skills ?
