A reputable long-term care facility located near Hays, Kansas, is seeking an experienced Long-Term Care Supervisor to join its leadership team. Salary Range For Long-term Care Supervisor: $85,000-$100,000/yearly Long-term Care Supervisor Opportunity: Full-time, direct hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Department: Long-Term Care Some on-call rotation required The Surrounding Community: Features repurposed historic buildings, local boutiques, eateries, and public art like murals and sculptures. Offers parks, trails, and access to fishing at nearby lakes. Local family-owned diners and shops in town
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2+ years of long-term care nursing experience
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of nurse leadership or management experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Director of Nursing and facility leadership to promote safe, efficient care coordination, patient flow, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Foster positive, professional communication with residents, families, physicians, staff, and visitors
- Oversee scheduling, risk management, and administrative operations with the LTC unit
- Manage the nursing department budget and approve invoices related to staffing contracts and operational expenses
