The primary purpose of this position is to load, transport, and unload all materials manufactured, sold, or transported by Correction Enterprise. This position also picks up, delivers, and unloads, raw materials used in Enterprise operations. This also includes participation in actual loading process, when necessary, to help distribute weight properly and facilitate deliveries or route scheduling. Position requires public contact, which includes answering questions, being knowledgeable about Enterprise products and services, and providing prompt, courteous service at shipping destinations. The selected candidate needs an excellent knowledge of North Carolina geography and highway system. Finally, the candidate is responsible for the safe operation and routine maintenance and cleaning of truck tractors and trailers.
