About The Position

The Logistics Technician is a safety- and service-centric professional, responsible for ordering, inventorying, shipping, and receiving all aircraft parts and supplies in accordance with operational needs and company procedures. They are accountable for the accuracy of all maintenance orders and take pride in their attention to detail. The Logistics Technician is a full-time position and requires flexibility to work various shifts depending on operational need.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year experience processing inventory in a maintenance setting.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email (Outlook)
  • Reliable self-starter exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Works both independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks.
  • People-centric, demonstrating the ability to forge relationships with internal and external personnel.
  • Ability to synthesize, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks under constraints in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external customers.
  • Team player able to multi-task and work accurately and efficiently under pressure and in time-critical environment.
  • Must be 18 years of age at time of application
  • Willing to comply with uniform and appearance guidelines
  • Passing a DOT pre-employment drug test.
  • No person may perform any safety-sensitive function if the person has a verified positive drug or alcohol test result or has refused to submit to a drug test.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role which requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Work authorization/security clearance requirements
  • Authority to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check in compliance with TSA Security Program Standards and 49 CFR 1544.229 and 49 CFR 1544.230

  • DG (Dangerous Goods) shipping knowledge helpful but not required.
  • CAMP or other aircraft maintenance tracking system knowledge a plus but not required.
  • Suspect Unapproved Parts (SUP) knowledge helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing, Ordering & Vendor Coordination Process requisitions for aircraft parts, tools, and shop supplies in accordance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with Technicians and leadership to anticipate departmental needs, including scheduled maintenance events.
  • Monitor and support the department budget by tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply and high-quality service.
  • Uphold JetRx values and contribute to a positive, service-centered team culture.
  • Additional duties as advised.
  • Maintains existing inventory by transferring or allocating correctly for maximum benefit for company including issuing and receiving purchase orders, service orders, and interfacing with multiple personnel within company and external vendors.
  • Reviews the parts inventory associated with scheduled maintenance events confirming installations and arranging the return of unused parts, cores, and out of the box faulty parts.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality partnership.
  • Identifies opportunities for increased efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Demonstrates the safety centric values of the organization.
  • Maintain the master calibrated tool list and ensure all required tools receive annual inspections.
  • Track calibration due dates and coordinate with approved vendors to maintain compliance with FAA and company requirements.
  • Ensure proper identification, storage, and control of all calibrated tools
  • Enforce tool accountability standards to support safety, quality, and audit readiness.
  • Receive incoming aircraft parts, materials, and consumables; verify accuracy against purchase documentation
  • Conduct receiving inspections in accordance with JetRx policies and escalate issues such as suspected unapproved parts
  • Prepare and ship non-hazardous goods, aircraft parts, and returns via FedEx or intracompany channels
  • Assist the Parts Manager with Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), including documentation and preparation of core returns
  • Maintain complete and accurate shipping, receiving, and material movement records.
  • Perform and document monthly safety inspections of the hangar floor, eyewash stations, and first aid kits; report discrepancies promptly.
  • Support JetRx’s Safety Above All value through active hazard identification and reporting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready logistics environment.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and scheduled inventory counts.
