Join Our Team as a Logistics Facilities Maintenance Technician I – Where Safety, Reliability, and Teamwork Drive Success We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Facilities Maintenance Technician I to support the daily maintenance and operation of our fast-paced logistics and warehouse facility. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who wants to build a long-term career in facilities and maintenance. In this role, you will help ensure our building systems, machinery, and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Shift: Day Shift – 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM Schedule: Monday through Friday Pay: $21–$24 per hour Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and facility issues
- Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety hazards
- Support preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and breakdowns
- Complete routine tasks such as replacing filters, changing light bulbs, and unclogging drains
- Maintain facility grounds, including exterior upkeep, landscaping, and snow removal as needed
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and infrastructure
- Document completed work, repairs, and inventory in the maintenance management system
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
- Support senior maintenance technicians on larger projects
