CS: Making Buildings Better® SCOPE OF POSITION: Responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships with customers. Assist customers with new orders and advises status of orders in process. Serves as primary back-up to the Supply Chain Supervisor. Monitor material readiness for shipments to meet customer demands and expectations. Set up shipments for domestic and International. Prepare all necessary shipping documents that are required.

Responsibilities

  • Assumes responsibility for the accurate entry of customer orders
  • Acknowledges orders, verifies pricing, billing, shipping addresses and informs customers of any problems
  • Researches and resolves problems with orders
  • Processes orders in a timely fashion, meeting all deadlines
  • Conducts customer surveys and compiles results for management review and consideration
  • Creates the pack list and the Bill of Lading and scans into IMS and sends to the customer as needed
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with customers
  • Resolves questions, requests, and promptly and courteously addresses problems
  • Keeps customers informed of Company policies, procedures, and status of their orders
  • Maintains the Company's professional reputation
  • Provides consistent feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
  • Maintains the Customer Complaint/Feedback Log and works closely with the Quality Manager to provide resolution to the customer regarding the complaint
  • Process purchase requests and orders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Conduct Inventory Cycle Counts as required.
  • Performs all other related duties assigned by management.
