About The Position

Accountable for the overall supervision of Courier Services, Logistics, and Mail Room.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED Required
• 3 years Logistics experience. Required
• Supervisory experience. Preferred
• Drivers License - DMV Current Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR with 3-year baseline and annual MVR review. Required

Nice To Haves

• Able to function as a supervisor of large groups of people of varying ages and backgrounds. (Preferred proficiency)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily scheduling of Couriers and Logistics Staff.
• Responsible for daily operation of local and regional courier services and able to perform as a substitute courier.
• Maintains a working knowledge of mailroom operations and is able to perform as a substitute mailroom clerk.
• Understands and is capable of performing all tasks of a Logistics Technician.
• Develops standard work documents and supports process when multiple departments are involved.
• Is key mentor to new staff.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of LEAN concepts. Utilizes these concepts in performance of tasks.
• Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of payroll.
• Assures departmental associates present a positive image to our customers.
• Embraces Stormont Vail cultural philosophies (i.e.: Small Moments).
• Complies with all policies, standards, mandatory training and requirements of Stormont Vail Health
• Performs other duties as assigned
