About The Position

Oversees the tasks and work of Operations Support Technicians in the department Responsible for the training of all new hire Operations Support Technicians Responsible for assisting with the training of all Field Operations new hires as it relates to the departmental processes Organizes workflow and prepares schedules; reviews payroll; approves all team member timesheets and leave time Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, applying performance improvement, progressive discipline, and completing employee appraisals in a timely manner Meets with the Logistics Manager regarding policies affecting the administration of the department; recommends improvements and changes as appropriate

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (G.E.D); or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year related supervisory/leadership experience and/or training OR combination of education/experience
  • Basic knowledge of process improvement
  • Knowledge of assembly line/ production systems
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, such as, but not limited to pallet jacks, ramps, ladders and dolly
  • Knowledge of radio communications equipment
  • Knowledge of precautions and safety procedures for handling and cleaning biohazards
  • Knowledge of minor repairs and maintenance procedures
