Job Description: Manage all import/export shipping activities, set, and execute service levels for inbound and outbound shipments, focus on customer satisfaction and meeting on time delivery expectations. Oversee and manage stockroom activities as it relates to production orders, cycle counts, and areas of 6S and continuous improvement. Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency, customer service, and cost savings. Manage the logistics team and coordinate scheduling and workloads, focus on cross-training initiatives to offer support for the site. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Monitor inventory levels and adjust ordering and storage accordingly. Track order fulfillment and investigate and resolve discrepancies. Participate in cross-functional teams devoted to efficiency, cost-reduction, inventory reduction, inventory turns, and quality. Responsible for reporting KPI metrics to the site and identifying key opportunities to improve and align with the Microchip logistics processes.
