Raytheon is seeking a Logistician to perform a wide variety of tasks relating to incoming and outgoing of equipment, parts, materials, and merchandise. The primary objective of this role is to execute the logistics and asset management requirements of the United States Navy and government agencies in accordance with government specifications and Raytheon contractual agreements.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in logistics or related field.
  • Experience working with MS Office.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Navy ERP.
  • Experience using forklift, hand trucks or similar equipment.
  • Knowledge of government property management.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Logistics and Asset Management disciplines & requirements.
  • Utilize the Navy ERP and MMIS systems.
  • Assist with unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  • Process order requests by pulling assets & materials, packing boxes and placing orders in delivery area for pickup.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, requisition requests, record amounts of materials or items received and distributed.
  • Manually count and scan physical inventory as necessary.
  • Prepare and stage parcels for shipping.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
  • Wear proper safety equipment, (PPE).
  • Utilize material handling equipment such as swing reach, forklift, hand-truck, and/or dolly.
  • This position will require the selected candidate to obtain swing reach and forklift certifications.
  • Crosstrain in different functions to ensure timely completion of product to warehouse.
