As a Logistics Specialist (Shipping, Receiving & Kitting), you’ll play a pivotal role in managing inventory flow and ensuring accurate, compliant shipping and receiving processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain material traceability, support production needs, and deliver high-quality logistics operations in a regulated environment.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or inventory control
Experience with data entry and inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to follow procedures and maintain high-quality standards
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, walking) throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

Experience in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar)
Familiarity with inventory control processes and traceability requirements
Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
Strong organizational and time management skills
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

Prepare shipments by staging, packing, protecting, and labeling materials according to detailed specifications
Generate and verify shipping documentation, including material certifications and customer-required paperwork
Ensure proper product handling and maintain material traceability throughout the shipping process
Ship materials using approved carriers in alignment with packing instructions
Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records
Perform inventory transactions, including stocking, labeling, and tracking materials
Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory processes
Monitor and replenish shipping and stocking supplies
Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and ladders
Support kitting and inventory control activities as needed
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with team members to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement
