The company is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage receiving, inspection, inventory control, and shipping operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This on-site position is crucial for maintaining accurate material flow by coordinating with both internal teams and external vendors, overseeing outsourced processes and shipping activities, and ensuring all ERP transactions are timely and accurate.

Requirements

  • Experience working with ERP systems for inventory and material tracking.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate logistics with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a warehouse and office environment with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Support the Receiving Department by processing incoming materials, verifying documentation, and ensuring accurate ERP transactions.
  • Organize materials for outsourcing by kitting, verifying quantities, and clearly identifying items prior to vendor processing.
  • Process, track, and maintain accurate material and inventory transactions within the ERP system.
  • Assist the Inspection Department with incoming and outgoing materials as needed to ensure quality and traceability.
  • Coordinate and manage pickups and deliveries for materials sent to outside vendors for processing.
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels and support inventory integrity initiatives.
  • Manage material returns from projects, including returning materials to vendors, issuing credits to projects, and receiving returned items back into inventory.
  • Quote, set up, schedule, and prepare documentation for all shipping activities, including project shipments, customer orders, and UPS/FedEx shipments by working with Service Coordinator.
  • Conduct vendor site inspections when necessary to verify processes or material status.
  • Manage multiple tasks while contributing to a cross-functional team and ensuring accuracy and quality of work.
