Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity to join the North America Supply Chain organization as a Logistics Specialist supporting our Crop Protection business. In this role, you will oversee North American domestic transportation to ensure products reach our farmer customers on time, at the best possible cost, and in the most sustainable manner . You will operate in a fast‑paced environment characterized by volatile demand, tight schedules, capacity constraints, and daily decision‑making. The role requires balancing cost, service, and diverse stakeholder needs while managing the performance of carriers and third‑party logistics partners. Success in this role depends on building strong, collaborative relationships with logistics partners, Customer Service, Commercial teams, and Supply Chain stakeholders. You will leverage data and analytics to make informed, risk‑based decisions and continuously optimize logistics execution—positioning transportation as a competitive advantage for Corteva. Role and Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the North American Logistics Specialist is to manage the cost and service performance of your transportation mode(s) and shipping lanes from order to delivery, while driving continuous improvement in compliance with industrial regulations. Responsibilities may also include fleet asset leases and maintenance operations and strategy. Detailed responsibilities include: Communication with suppliers, customers, and carriers to track and coordinate shipment schedules, while troubleshooting daily escalations Lead short and long-term capacity planning, including fleet sizing Collaborate with supply chain planning organization and Distribution Requirements Planners (DRPs) to ensure transportation capacity availability and performance Partner with the Customer Service, Demand, and Sales and Marketing organizations to ensure the best customer logistics experience Data-driven performance management of carriers and third-party logistics partners Collaboration with logistics procurement and 3PLs to establish carrier strategy and supplier selection Cost planning and management, including expense monitoring and approval Identification of cost and service improvement opportunities and project leadership to drive change Engage and lead in new supply chain design and logistics work process strategy and implementation Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives through cross-functional coordination Keys to Success Leadership through efficient prioritization and data-driven decision-making Clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Strategic insight to anticipate changes and agility to adjust plans quickly Relationships management with cross-functional stakeholders and service providers Act courageously in ambiguous, independent, and operational volatile environments Empowerment to challenge the status-quo and solve unprecedented issues Consistent delivering results in a fast‑paced dynamic environment with tight deadlines Strong Customer focused mindset with a passion for logistics excellence
