Working knowledge of domestic/international shipping practices and documentation. Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Strong organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role from Day 1, candidates should have hands‑on experience coordinating domestic and international shipments, preparing trade‑compliance documentation, working with carriers or 3PLs, and maintaining accurate data in ERP systems. They should come in with exposure to projects such as managing routine inbound/outbound shipments, owning parts of an NPI or engineering‑build logistics process, supporting expedites, improving small workflow steps, or contributing to KPI tracking such as on‑time delivery or transit‑time monitoring. At this level, the individual is expected to work independently on standard tasks—booking freight, tracking shipments, resolving straightforward delays, updating documentation—while still relying on mentorship for complex decisions, escalations, or cross‑functional tradeoffs. This role does not manage people but may influence peers by sharing best practices or supporting training on basic processes. Candidates should be proficient with tools such as Excel (lookups, pivots), ERP systems (Oracle), and collaboration platforms, with enough aptitude to maintain data accuracy and identify obvious process gaps. Communication expectations include keeping planners, warehouse teams, engineers, and managers updated on shipment status, presenting clear information when issues arise, and contributing to discussions—though they typically are not yet the primary decision‑maker in higher‑level alignment meetings, which distinguishes them from the next level.
