This position provides support to PMA242 FMS in development and execution of FMS and International Business programs/activities. The effort provides programmatic and logistics support for production and sustainment FMS cases. This is an in-person position at the Government Site, China Lake, CA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Six (6) years of work experience in a related field may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Associate’s degree and four (4) year’s additional work experience in a related field may also be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Greater than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.
  • An active Secret Security Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of logistics strategies for international programs, including case development, implementation, and follow-on support.
  • Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analysis, and evaluations to improve readiness and optimize supportability.
  • Address program requirements in international logistics, developing unique approaches for cooperative support arrangements with partner nations.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to program managers, engineers, and acquisition professionals.
  • Support configuration and data management processes throughout the program lifecycle: Maintain configuration control of acquisition products and data. Track configuration changes and coordinate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Manage Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and deliverables.
  • Collect, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft, weapons systems, and associated products.
  • Prepare logistics documentation, reports, and presentations for program reviews and stakeholder briefings.
  • Track corrective actions and milestone accomplishments, evaluating progress and recommending solutions.
  • Attend Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, and other significant program activities (CONUS and OCONUS travel will be required). Anticipated travel estimated at 20%.
  • Mentor junior logistics staff and contribute to building organizational capability.
